| Yet another scenario that is so much better than the canon version. I would have loved to see Riley's face when the penny dropped, but I'm glad you ended it where you did with that wonderful sense of shared peace even in the face of adversity. Rest assured I shall be working my way through the rest of your fics at some point, but for now I'd best see if I can make some progress on the writing side of the equation. | |||

| Great work! I loved everything about it... Spike is conveyed beautifully here... His loyalty and self sacrifice is highlighted pefectly. I really love how Buffy and Spike's relationship is giving a chance to bloom here... Your Buffy is a much more well adjusted version of the Buffy on the series. If only she had realized his sterling qualities earlier in the season... She might have if Angel hadn't been such a bastard and messed with her head. I absolutely love how you have Giles all frustrated at Riley and even poor Xander is finally getting the fact that maybe Riley isn't the golden boy that he has imagined him to be. Loved it!  This was such a masterful twist to a story that left little room for Spuffy loving! It is soooo believable and sweet. You are amazing! *hugs* | |||

| Oooohhhhh....I like the Riley/Xander stuff at the beginning...too bad you couldn't keep it in the Spuffyverse Journal....it added that special hatred of Riley to the mix...hehehe....great fic!! I hope you're gonna be writing some more Spuffyverse fics....cause I can't wait to read them. | |||

| Fab twist hon! I really liked the part about Spike sitting with Joyce. That's something I could easily see him doing. Glad Buffy could finally too... Hehe, you wrote a car-chase, I love those.  Way cooler that the boring one Giles did. And hitting the snake with the car at the end? Such a great move!Getting bit by the snake, ugh, poor vamp. Don't snakes have, like, giant fangs? Seeing the irony there * * -- Ok, I'm being mean to poor wonded Spike. *blushes* Still...Sweet ending. And I think it's good you waited with the smut. It's really hard to make them have sex withing 5000 words at this point of the season without it seeming too fast. Usually I don't have a problem with getting physiacl pretty early in a relationship, but not with those two and with Riley only just being out of the picture. The thought of using is just too close to the sureface here... Me likey very much! You did great | |||
